BRAVUR0 CELLARS delivers a unique year-round wine tasting experience in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. We produce/taste/sell warm/hot-climate, small-batch (every bottle is individually numbered), hand-crafted, full-bodied and robust red wines… Old Vine Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Bordeaux-style blends, and a Ruby Port.
Wine tasters in the Willamette Valley can spend days visiting wineries where the predominant (and in many cases, the only) red wine is Pinot Noir. 96% of the tasting rooms in the Willamette Valley taste/sell Pinot Noir. We love Pinot Noir, but “Man shall not live by Pinot alone.” Oregon wine tasters deserve a wider variety of red wines to taste… now they have it at Bravuro Cellars.
If it weren’t for big red wines, many people would never fall in love with wine. For many wine drinkers, big red wines are the epitome of what a great wine should be. There’s something so special about a big red wine that a single sip can leave you in awe. Big, bold red wines are challenging to produce and can only be made in warm/hot-climate growing regions. We brought ‘warm/hot climate’ to Oregon.
BRAVURA – pronounced brah-voo-roh – means a display of boldness or daring; great skill and energy in doing something. Founders Steve Saxton & Luci Serrato are Bravuro. Our tasting room in historic downtown Newberg is open daily 12noon – 6pm.
