Between the breathless rush of harvest
and the calm of Cellar Season
, we welcome the festive energy of the holidays—and with them a chance to step back, appreciate the beauty and camaraderie around us, and give back to the communities we call home.
This year, The Giving Season is our gift to you. After a year full of hard choices and unexpected obstacles, we found ways to come together (even when physically miles or even time zones apart) to keep our community strong. Every step of the way, you were part of that community, and now is our chance to express our gratitude.
Wine Country Thanksgiving is a part of the Giving Season this year.
SUPPORTING OREGON FOOD BANKS
In the tradition of Willamette Cares Food Share, our Giving Season celebration will include support for Oregon Food Banks. Together our participating wineries and wine country businesses donated $7,000 to the Oregon Food Bank Network, and many are continuing to make and accept donations. See all participants here.
Why is Food Share so important to our community? A few of our wineries shared their reasons for supporting the Oregon Food Bank Network.

As the weather cools and the colors change, we look forward to creating festive traditions at The Outlook. Every weekend in October, experience Autumn at Knudsen Vineyards.
The Autumn Outlook Package for Two includes a tasting flight of five estate wines for two adult guests, and a Marketplace Snack plate with local salami, cheese and accompaniments to share. Stop by the fall-themed selfie station for photo souvenirs, and everything you need to decorate a pumpkin to take home.
Great for families or anyone looking to kick off the fall season with friends, wine, and some fun!
All seating options offer appropriate physical distance from other guests and lovely surrounding views of our vineyards.
$70 for two people
$40 for Family Roots Wine Club Member + 1
Each reservation includes: Two tastings including 5 wines, one Marketplace Snack and one pumpkin*.
*Additional pumpkins may be purchased during your visit.
Walk in the footsteps of our parents, Cal & Julia Lee Knudsen, and learn about our 130 acre vineyard, planted mainly to Pinot noir and Chardonnay, plus a tiny block of Pinot meunier. Our family has owned this land since 1971 and we look forward to sharing our history with you as we take a casual hike through our most premium vineyard blocks.
Discover the wines that come from these blocks and learn about our low-impact and sustainable farming practices. Managing Partner and 2nd Generation Owner, Page Knudsen Cowles, will be your host for this memorable experience at Knudsen Vineyards. Following the hike, a picnic lunch will be provided on our sunny patios alongside thoughtfully selected estate wines.
* This walk will take place in our vineyard which varies in elevation from 500-1000 feet. Uneven ground and rugged terrain will be underfoot and we encourage hiking boots or comfortable sneakers that you don’t mind getting dirty.
** Please be prepared to stand in warm areas of the vineyard and protect your skin with the proper attire and/or sunscreen. We also recommend that you bring a personal water bottle that can be refilled during your visit.
(Please refrain from bringing your four-legged friends, or plan for them to stay in your vehicle if the weather allows.)

I’ve completely eliminated drinking wine during the week, so come Thursday, I’m excited to pick out my weekend bottle. Tomorrow I’ll be sipping on this 2015 L’Altra Linea Dundee Hills Pinot Noir from furiosovineyard. I picked this up in the tasting room over a year ago so my memory is foggy on the details and notes, but I must have liked it to bring it home!🤷♀️🍷
Tell me what you plan to open this weekend! ⬇️

The days are long but the years are short, might as well enjoy a nice glass of wine. Lately I’ve been enjoying this Rose from stollerwine! After the babes are in bed I like to pretend I’m actually at the vineyards instead of tripping over Hot Wheels as I make my way to collapse on the couch. Thank you so much #stollerwines for providing me a mini-escape back to Oregon (especially since I was pregnant when I was there and couldn’t partake). Our winemaking team has been busy processing the fruit coming in as Harvest continues as scheduled. Early Chardonnay grapes were picked and pressed a few weeks ago ready to become part of our 2020 sparkling wine vintage 👏🏼

"This was the first year that we had a team of all interns from the United States. The five of them ranged in experience and background. Coming together during a pandemic and getting through harvest was challenging but we had the right team for the job. 2020 will be one for the books. Cheers to our Harvest Team!" - Katie Santora, Winemaker. Learn more about our interns - follow the 🔗 in profile!

Beaux Frères founding captain, Michael G. Etzel, scouting out our block at Guadalupe Vineyard in his daily driver, a 1972 Datsun 521 pickup.
We’re seeing an exceptional amount of site diversity this vintage, with Mother Nature looking poised to deliver a beautiful burst of energy as we approach the finish line. Just about ready to pull the anchors up and set sail on 2020!
