Oregon white wine is beginning to generate real buzz – the state known for classy Pinot Noir is now making delicious whites too. But this is not so strange, when you come to think about it. If Willamette Valley’s cool climate is sympathetic to Pinot Noir, why not the white varietals of cool Alsace and Germany, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc?
