Join Oregon native-turned Kiwi winemaker Jen Parr as we look at the wines she is making in her new home. Valli specialises in the production of premium sub-regional wines from Central and North Otago on the South Island of New Zealand. We will taste four different Pinot Noirs created in the same technique by the same winemaking team, but from different sub-regions, highlighting the unique attributes of each growing area.
We will also explore the impact of winemaking choices with two distinctly different wines made from the same Pinot Gris grapes, but with vastly different winemaking techniques: one being a “classic” style, the other a skin contact “orange wine”.
Join us for a unique opportunity to explore the wines from two of the Southern-most winegrowing regions in the world.
