Wine Wednesdays take a twist in the fall!

Starting September 16, we switch from musical guests to trivia.

From 6-8 pm every Wednesday, we will host a fun mid-week evening of trivia.

Michelle from The Wandering Vine will offer food that must be pre-ordered with your tickets.

To attend these events, you agree to follow all OHA guidelines, and you agree not to hold Youngberg Hill, our staff, performers, or vendors liable should they be exposed to COVID-19 at the event. To secure your spot, we encourage you to make reservations in advance.

We will host the event inside of our event center, so we are strictly limited to no more than 75 guests. To ensure attendance we are requiring a $10 registration fee which will be applied towards your drink purchase.

Reminders:
– 6 person limit per party.

-Trivia night is 21, and over, please leave the children at home (including fur babies).
-Outside food is allowed.
-Please keep at least 6 feet apart.

As the weather cools and the colors change, we look forward to creating festive traditions at The Outlook. Every weekend in October, experience Autumn at Knudsen Vineyards.

The Autumn Outlook Package for Two includes a tasting flight of five estate wines for two adult guests, and a Marketplace Snack plate with local salami, cheese and accompaniments to share.  Stop by the fall-themed selfie station for photo souvenirs, and everything you need to decorate a  pumpkin to take home.

Great for families or anyone looking to kick off the fall season with friends, wine, and some fun!

 

All seating options offer appropriate physical distance from other guests and lovely surrounding views of our vineyards.

Each reservation includes: Two tastings including 5 wines, one Marketplace Snack and one pumpkin*.

Walk in the footsteps of our parents, Cal & Julia Lee Knudsen, and learn about our 130 acre vineyard, planted mainly to Pinot noir and Chardonnay, plus a tiny block of Pinot meunier. Our family has owned this land since 1971 and we look forward to sharing our history with you as we take a casual hike through our most premium vineyard blocks.

Discover the wines that come from these blocks and learn about our low-impact and sustainable farming practices. Managing Partner and 2nd Generation Owner, Page Knudsen Cowles, will be your host for this memorable experience at Knudsen Vineyards. Following the hike, a picnic lunch will be provided on our sunny patios alongside thoughtfully selected estate wines.

* This walk will take place in our vineyard which varies in elevation from 500-1000 feet. Uneven ground and rugged terrain will be underfoot and we encourage hiking boots or comfortable sneakers that you don’t mind getting dirty.

** Please be prepared to stand in warm areas of the vineyard and protect your skin with the proper attire and/or sunscreen. We also recommend that you bring a personal water bottle that can be refilled during your visit.

(Please refrain from bringing your four-legged friends, or plan for them to stay in your vehicle if the weather allows.)

Join us to learn to make holiday dishes to impress your family and friends and sip wine and be inspired in the kitchen as you learn to make some delicious recipes.

We are excited to offer a series of cooking classes with a maximum of 10 guests to ensure that everyone has their own cooking station that are 6 ft apart from each other. (Please remember to bring your mask!)

This class is about 2.5 hours in length and you participate in a “hands on” cooking class. During the class you will enjoy wines from Natalie’s Estate Winery along with dining on the dishes you have learned how to prepare! Drink, eat, learn and have fun!

Jessica and Anna Matzinger of Matzinger-Davies Wine Co. will share their picks from both regions and we’ll taste blind and discover about these two regions and, more importantly, our own palates. We will avail a four pack of wines for this tasting from Matzinger-Davies, Et Fille, and two Burgundian wines for $220 for registrants of this tasting only (not available online). We will provide instructions on how to do the blind tasting.
