Domaine Serene is honored to once again host this famed James Beard series. This multi-course wine dinner will be hosted by the talented Evenstad Estates Culinary team, featuring visiting celebrity Chefs. Domaine Serene’s impressive culinary program is centered on the idea that when it comes to pairings, wine should inspire food, and not the other way around as is so often the case.
James Beard Taste America: Portland Pop-Up draws upon this concept. Local and visiting Chefs first taste an array of distinctive wines, then proceed to create their sublime four-course menu dishes to pair the two elements perfectly. The Taste America: Portland Pop-Up is sure to dazzle, with an extensive menu created by an all-star lineup of Chefs led by hosts Ryan Mead (The Clubhouse at Domaine Serene) and Cody Rodriguez (The Domaine Serene Wine Lounge, Lake Oswego), and featuring Chef Jenn Louis (Owner and Executive Chef at Thirty-Six in Portland), and visiting All-Star Chef Brad Kilgore ( Executive Chef at Alter, Miami). You won’t want to miss this amazing savory evening!

Variation from year to year sets wine apart from nearly every other drink. It adds infinitely to the mystique and intrigue of wine — no two wines will ever be the same. Join Alex Fullerton as we discuss how viticulture, winemaking, and the resulting wines vary by vintage. We will taste through a few verticals to help us explore the topic.
The Fullerton Wine Course offers attendees an engaging and personal experience. Each class incorporates curated insights into the chosen topic, and includes an interactive tasting experience. Appetizers and wine will be served as attendees mingle during the first 15 minutes, and the sessions close with light nibbles and conversation. Expect a fun and enlightening experience.
Seats are limited for all sessions to preserve the intimacy and quality of the experience.
