Please join Elk Cove Vineyards in celebrating Year of the Boar. According to Chinese tradition, the Pig is the life-lover archetype who encourages us to see everything beautiful in the world. This event will feature small bites created by our good friend, Rita You, previously of Lucky Strike restaurant in Portland.
Rita’s home town is Chengdu, where she learned traditional Sichuan favorites utilizing the Sichuan peppercorn for complex flavors and spice. We will have a selection of vibrant white wines to accompany her delicacies.
For entertainment, The White Lotus Lion Dancers will perform at 1pm and we will have live traditional Chinese music throughout the event. Enjoy looking at beautiful lantern creations from HiiH Lights throughout the venue. Another characteristic of the Pig is generosity, so we have teamed up with Lan Su Chinese Gardens in Portland to make a charitable donation from each ticket purchase.
Ticket price is $60 general public, $45 Club Member pricing.
