Scott Paul and Wildstock Wines
Scott Paul Wines is an artisanal producer of Pinot Noir, based in Carlton, Oregon. Our wines reveal elegance and finesse, the benchmarks of what is considered to be the very heart and soul of Pinot Noir. Our fruit is sourced from some of the finest vineyards in the Willamette Valley including Maresh Vineyard in the Dundee Hills and our estate vineyard, Azana, in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Scott Paul Wines has historically produced limited-production Pinot Noir only, but they are excited to introduce a Chardonnay and a Gamay Noir in the fall of 2016.
In 2014 we launched Wildstock Wines, a multi-varietal family of wines that reflect the creative, independent and wild spirit of Oregon. We love high-end Oregon Pinot Noir as much as the next guy, but with an affordably priced Oregon wine brand, we figured they could reach out to more people and spread the word about Oregon’s awesome wine scene. We produce a Wildstock Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. Like Oregon, these wines aren’t afraid to make a statement!
The tasting room, housed in a restored circa-1915 creamery, is open 12-5 Wednesday-Sunday and features wines from Scott Paul and Wildstock brands. The winery, across the street from the tasting room, was formerly a granary. Historic Carlton boasts 15-plus tasting rooms in walking distance downtown, in addition to several quaint cafes, two food carts, and one of the best jam shops around. It's time for a visit!
