“I’ve always loved playing with my food” says Scott, and that he does exquisitely. ¡Oba! opened its doors in 1997 and continues to thrive in Portland’s uber competitive restaurant scene. Chef Scott has been called the “Father of Nuevo Latino Cuisine in the Pacific Northwest” with his artistic combinations of cuisines from Spain, Portugal, the Caribbean and the Americas.
