Oregon Grape Stomp Championship & Harvest Celebration at Willamette Valley Vineyards @ Willamette Valley Vineyards | Turner | Oregon | United States

Our 26th annual Grape Stomp event will take place at our Estate Tasting Room on 9/24 and 9/25.  Guests will compete in teams of two (Stomper & Swabbie) for the Oregon title and earn a trip to Santa Rosa, California to compete at the World Championship Grape Stomp.  Wine tasting of our new releases will be served and live music will be playing!

Our Winery Chef DJ MacIntyre will have a specialty festival style menu available for purchase. Get in the spirit and come dressed up in costumes or team uniforms – prizes for best dressed!

Admission is $15, $10 for Wine Club Members, Owners and their guests, and includes wine tasting, lawn games, and live music. 

Stomping Reservations: There is an additional fee of $10 per team to stomp. Stomping reservations are now open. Please call 503-588-9463 to reserve your team’s stomp time, or reserve online.

Join Bottle & Bottega at Winter’s Hill Winery for this special
event! If the weather’s nice, we’ll be painting OUTSIDE and enjoying one of the top 7 winery views in Oregon (as voted by Travel Oregon).  Come join us right where all the magic happens!

Note: You may want to bring/wear appropriate clothing as we may be painting outside! If we are not outside the painting will happen in the winery cellar, which means it will be a little cooler.

Let us inspire you to create your own version of this painting while you sip some wonderful wine from the region (Tasting not included in event pricing). NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Step-by-step painting instruction provided by one of our artists.

Meet and greet reception from 1:00 – 1:30pm. Wine will be available for purchase from Winter’s Hill Winery.

Join us at the Winderlea Estate and Tasting Room for a tour of the vineyard, a tasting of our current release wines and a 3-course luncheon featuring the 2007 Estate Pinot noir.  Our annual harvest luncheon is a tribute to our growers and a chance to celebrate the 2016 growing season.

The experience begins at 12 pm with a tour of the vineyard and a tasting of our current releases of Winderlea wines. A 3-course lunch will be served at 1 pm and feature a limited release selection from the library.  Our tasting room is otherwise closed for this special annual celebration.

Friday Night Concert Series at Silvan Ridge Winery @ Silvan Ridge Winery | Eugene | Oregon | United States

Starting June 3rd, we stay open until 9 pm every Friday night through mid-October, with live music on our outdoor stage from 6-8 pm along with our famous wood-fired pizzas and award-winning wines.

These concerts are all ages and are free!  Bring a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot on the grass or sit up on our patio- either way, you’ll get to enjoy wine, food, and the sunset.

Picnics are welcome but please no outside alcohol.  We do also feature Planktown beers and have non-alcoholic beverages available.

This Fall at Lange Estate Winery & Vineyards, on each “First Saturday” of the month, we will be offering two tasting options to our guests – no reservations required.

Visit our Estate Tasting Room with picturesque views of the vineyard and valley. Here you can enjoy a reserve flight featuring Chardonnay, Pinot gris, and (of course) Pinot noir – including our coveted single vineyard Pinot noirs. Our Classic Tasting is $15/Per Person (One tasting fee waived with $100 purchase; Club Members receive four Complimentary Tastings).

For a more elevated experience, on the FIRST SATURDAY of each month at Lange Estate, you can pop next door to our Formal Tasting Room for our featured “FLIGHTS & BITES.” Savor sips from some of our more exclusive bottlings in exciting tasting formats.

This October 1st, enjoy a rendezvous with our Three Hills Cuvée in an irresistible vertical from our 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages. Before we pique your palate with Pinot noir, you first have to sample another noble variety with side by side splashes of our 2014 Estate Chardonnay and our 2014 Freedom Hill Chardonnay.

Our “Flights & Bites” Tasting is $25/Per Person and includes gourmet bites to enjoy. (Tasting Fee not waived with purchase; Club Members receive four Complimentary Tasting).

Art class takes a look at how wine is portrayed through different artistic mediums. Painting, music, poetry, and aesthetics are just a few of the ways we will explore the expressions of wine and art. In this class we will hear the perspective of local artist Ursula Barton and watch as she paints, while we drink wines meant to inspire our inner artists.

Fullerton Wine Course: Winemaking 101

Fullerton Wine Course: Winemaking 101 @ Tasting Room | Beaverton | Oregon | United States

Navigate fermentation decisions from the use of resident yeast versus inoculating with commercial yeast, to controlling temperatures, to deciding how often and when to punch down the cap (skins sitting atop the fermenting juice). Learn by tasting our young 2016 wines, some still fermenting, as well as examples from past vintages.

The Fullerton Wine Course offers attendees an engaging and personal experience. Each class incorporates curated insights into the chosen topic, and includes an interactive tasting experience. Appetizers and wine will be served as attendees mingle during the first 15 minutes, and the sessions close with light nibbles and conversation. Expect a fun and enlightening evening.

Home Economics will take us into the kitchen for a cooking and pairing interactive demo with Victor Panichkul, chef and writer for the Statesman Journal. Vic has a knack for flavors in food and wine and he and I have worked to create several delicious pairings together. We will taste many different flavor components and combinations and show you how to create your own perfect pairings.
