Wine Spectator’s ’8 NAMES TO KNOW’ coming to Portland!

Eight Willamette Valley wineries recently named Wine Spectator’s “8 New Names to Know ” will come together for a tasting event of the hottest brands in Oregon wine country on Saturday, April 4 from 12 – 4pm at Red Slate Wine Co., 107 SE Washington St.

Guests are invited to enjoy food from Olympia Provisions and wine from Angela Estate, Artisanal Wine Cellars, Aubichon Cellars, Big Table Farm, Chapter 24 Vineyards, Eminent Domaine, Harper Voit and Tunkalilla Vineyard. Take advantage of this unique opportunity with some of today’s top new names in Oregon wine and prepare to stock your wine cellar!

$20 for food and wine tasting.

Roll in the Shea at Penner-Ash Wine Cellars

Wine Country Half Marathon

This spectacular race winds through 13.1 miles of rolling vineyards and picturesque farmland. The course begins at Stoller Family Estate with a gorgeous view of Mt. Hood and ends in downtown Carlton for the popular wine and music festival. Produced by Destination Races, this half marathon offers a unique and wonderful experience of Willamette Valley wine country. Join a winery team for discounted registration and even more fun during the race!

Once you cross the finish line, the celebration gets underway with dozens of local wineries and breweries pouring. Guests are welcome to join the wine and music festival for a tasting fee.
