9th Annual Sauvignon Blanc Festival

Join Oregon Sauvignon Blanc Cartel members J. Christopher Wines, Patricia Green Cellars, Andrew Rich Wines and newcomer Love & Squalor in celebrating Sauvignon Blanc at the J. Christopher Winery.

These are the Most Wanted white wine winemakers in Oregon. For several years the Oregon Sauvignon Blanc Cartel has controlled the vast majority of the supply of the white wine grape for which Oregon should truly be known. Once a year they open their meeting lair to share their generous nature and delicious wines with the public. Retaliation from the ruthless and unscrupulous Pinot Gris Cabal, and a new faction known as the Rosé Alliance, has forced us to escalate the most beloved white wine party in Oregon to a whole new level. Failure to attend would be… unwise.

Entry fee of $20 will get you tastes from THE BIG FOUR, along with food, and live music from the Rose City Hot Club. We are also joined by local, artisanal producers Fino in Fondo, Briar Rose, Laughing Worms Farm and Batch PDX.

2014 Yamhill Carlton AVA Spring Tasting

North of McMinnville, Oregon, in the Northern Willamette Valley, the land slowly rises to the hamlets of Carlton and Yamhill. Low ridges surround the two communities in a horseshoe shape. The free-flowing North Yamhill River courses through the center of a lush patchwork quilt of nurseries, grain fields and orchards. The neatly combed benchlands and hillsides of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, an AVA established in 2004, are home to some of the finest Pinot Noir vineyards in the world.

Join us April 26 at Anne Amie Vineyards to taste wines from 25+ AVA wineries. We decided that last year was a bit too crowded so we are cutting off attendance at 550 guests this year.
